If you want your leaflet to create more sales it’s important to write content that sells.
Have a specific aim for your leaflet campaign – to clear old stock, introduce new lines, inform about new products and services.
Think about the target audience, who they are, how they live and what influences their decisions. Write the content from their perspective.
What does your target audience need? Think about solving their problems, improving their lives, enhancing their home. Talk about the strong benefits of what you offer.
Make believable claims – if something sounds too good to be true, people will distrust it.
Provide evidence – if there’s credible independent research to back your claims quote it. But always give a reference to where the information came from. For example, CK Leafleting uses a lot of research from the Direct Marketing Association to support the strength of our service.
Always create an action point. Don’t keep your customers in the dark: explain clearly what they have to do to take advantage of your great offers.
Create comfort and confidence. Don’t put a mysterious mobile phone number on the leaflet and expect a response. People want to see full addresses, contacts, information about the company and its location.
